it arrived last week in the mail and it probably has to be the best piece of mail ive gotten in quite a while. no it's not my us weekly subscription although that warrants almost the same level of excitement but in my manila envelope i knew contained two cd's. and not just any old cd's but one with the aerosmith greatest hits to prep me as ill be going to their concert next month but the second was what i was waiting for.

blender's top 500 songs since you were born. yups. it was all there, the top 500 songs as rated by blender since 1980. whether you agree with the list or not, who the hell cares. what matters is that these songs are now in my possession ready to be downloaded onto my itunes, as soon as i figure out how that is.

but i have the good fortune of being friends with one who actually went out and downloaded all these songs and deemed me worthy enough to receive a copy. i mean sure we talked about it and discussed it and i offered my help in finding some of the songs but then he up and did it without me. how freaking great is that.

i guess it's time to change out songs on my ipod now and ill have you know that britney was in the top 10.
